Litigation is expensive and time-consuming. It also tends to set you and your ex-partner against each other. If you have children, it can make it harder to co-parent successfully.

1. Lawyer-assisted negotiation
We can assist with liaising with your ex-partner or their lawyer on your behalf, making and considering written offers of settlement, and attending settlement conferences.

service
2. Mediation
Parties and their legal representatives work with an independent Mediator towards resolving some or all of the issues in dispute.

service
3. Collaborative Law
This is a particular kind of negotiation. Legal representatives trained in collaborative law work closely together and with their clients to reach a negotiated settlement acceptable to all parties.

service
4. Arbitration
This involves a private hearing and determination of the matter before an arbitrator, which can be approved by the Court as final orders. This is often a quicker, cheaper, and less formal pathway to achieving finality.
